Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data nelenga.com (“Nelenga”, “we”) collects when you visit this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. Nelenga is an independent product studio. Contact: hello@nelenga.com or our contact page.

The short version: we do not require accounts, we do not sell your data, and our browser-based tools process everything on your device. The data that does get collected comes from two categories of third-party services: analytics and advertising — both are detailed below.

Data you give us directly

This website has no accounts, sign-ups, or forms. The only personal data we receive directly is what you choose to send us by email, and we use it solely to respond to you.

Browser-based tools process data locally

Files, text, and anything else you put into our free browser tools (image compressor, JSON formatter, QR generator, word counter) are processed entirely on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot see them. If we ever add a tool that runs on our servers, we will say so on that tool’s page and describe its data handling before you use it.

Analytics (Google Analytics and StatCounter)

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — pages visited, time on page, approximate location (derived from IP), browser, and device type. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers, and the data is processed by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.

We also use StatCounter for basic visitor statistics such as page views, referrers, and approximate location. StatCounter sets a cookie and loads a small tracking pixel; the data is aggregated and processed by StatCounter under StatCounter’s Privacy Policy. You can opt out with StatCounter’s visitor opt-out cookie.

Advertising (Google AdSense and other networks)

We display advertising served by Google AdSense, and may also work with other advertising networks such as Adsterra.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors’ cookies at www.aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
• Ad networks other than Google, when active, set their own cookies under their own policies — see the Adsterra Privacy Policy.
• For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, we present a consent message (via a Google-certified Consent Management Platform) before personalized advertising cookies are used, as required by Google’s EU User Consent Policy.

Ads are only shown on blog pages. Homepage, tools, project, and legal pages carry no advertising.

Cookies

Cookies used on this site fall into two groups: analytics cookies (Google Analytics and StatCounter) and advertising cookies (AdSense and, if active, other networks). We set no cookies of our own. You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings; the site remains fully functional without them.

Legal bases & your rights

We process data in accordance with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27/2022) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the GDPR (based on consent for advertising cookies and legitimate interest for aggregate analytics). California residents have the rights provided by the CCPA/CPRA; because third-party advertising cookies may qualify as “sharing”, you can opt out via the cookie controls and links above.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold, and to object to processing. Since we store no visitor data on our own servers, most requests concern third-party services — but email us at hello@nelenga.com and we will help you exercise your rights.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Our apps have their own policies

Nelenga applications (for example Duitara) have their own privacy policies covering data handled inside each app. You will find them on each app’s page under Projects.
